World Football group has strong links with a number of football clubs both in England and Australia. World Football Group works closely with each club, identifying talented players and delivering the best coaching methods. By doing this, it enables us to monitor player’s performance and gain accurate feedback when needed for Clubs.
World Football Group has been linked with English Championship Club Preston North End for over 5 years now and the link has seen players break into the Preston North End Academies, and now become first team players.
When the World Football Group scouting system sends players to England on trials, the players that go over will begin trials with Preston North End almost immediately. World Football Group Player Representives believe that the player is up to the required standard of football ability by doing a player assessment and game analysis either by watching or coaching the player.
World Football Group also has a strong a link with Southern Districts Club South West Wanderers that allows the Wanderers players an opportunity to continue their skills and technique in the offseason with our elite level Academies.
"It is vital to have every base covered for a young player in this day and age." said Paul Bertolissio. "By that, we are able to see the players develop at a young age within the academies whilst playing with the Wanderers and eventually go to the United Kingdom for football trials."
Preston North End Chief Scout Jim McCluskie said ''Quite often we get trialists in, it’s usually for a session or two, and it’s very hard to select a player or release him after very few sessions. But by linking up with World Football Group in Australia, this doesn't happen anymore as their scouts will be able to send accurate player reports on each individual to us here at Preston North End before that player arrives.
World Football Group is able to be the link between the player on trial and Preston North End to deliver quality players to Deepdale.
South West Wanderers secretary Mary Cakovski said “We are a new club in the Southern Districts Association and we are excited to have the support of World Soccer Schools. They send their coaches down to our club on a regular basis and our players receive excellent coaching in their grassroots ages from 5yrs to 16yrs." Mary went onto say "The kids are the real winners here as their football playing skills have greatly improved on the park."
