World Football Group is proud to announce that PRESTON NORTH END FC is coming to Australia in April 2012.

Joe Parkinson from Preston North End Football Club will be heading to New South Wales, Australia in July for the Preston North End Camp in the School Holidays. Joe has played 239 games as a professional footballer for clubs including, Wigan Athletic, Bournemouth and Everton where he played in the famous 1995 side that beat Manchester United in the FA CUP Final.
Joe has gone onto becoming a well-recognised coach by his peers in football. Joe is the under 14’s coach at Preston North Football Club and coming to Australia to see some of Australia’s most talented Young Footballers.
Joe Parkinson will assess players in each age group compared to those back in England. This unique Camp structure put together by Joe and PNE will allow him to see all players in both technical training exercises plus allow him to see how they compete in a game situation on the football pitch. Over the period of the camp Joe Parkinson and the coaches will be selecting players in each age group to participate in extra Sessions on the Thursday and Friday. These players will be selected based on having similar standard (age specific) of English football players in some of England’s best football Club Academies (including Preston North End).

Camp Structure

Day 1     All Players attend from 8 – 18 years(9am – 3pm)

Day 2     All Players attend from 8 – 18 years(9am – 3pm)

Day 3     All Players attend from 8 – 18 years(9am – 3pm)

Day 4     Players will be selected in each age group to participate in high performance sessions run at Preston North End FC
